THE CYCLING CLIMBS OF EAST ANGLIA

A well-known East Anglian hill climb course, Watson's Hill is just one of numerous climbs in this area west of Ipswich.  In fact a short ride around these parts can gain over 500m in elevation, cover some steep gradients and will be faced with very limited traffic.  The gradient on this climb is shallow until you pass a cul-de-sac on your right.  From here, it is a short effort out of the saddle.  The tough gradient continues for 300m until easing at the 11% gradient sign.
