Location: Ipswich
Length: 0.6km
Height Gain: 32m

Roads built with the purpose of accessing a high altitude ski-station are popular summit finishes in the Grand Tours. Ipswich's answer to these famous slopes is the Suffolk Ski-station, situated a dizzying 35m
above the Orwell estuary. Leaving the B1456, the gradient is a fairly steady 5% and this is the maintained for the whole climb. The road is quiet and well-surfaced and makes for enjoyable cycling in a rather congested area of Suffolk.
